Code Release

We are pleased inform you that the Extraordinary July 2026 Release is now live, and v13.28 of the IGT UNC has been published today. A change marked and clean version of this Code Release have been uploaded to the IGT UNC website, here.

Modifications included in this Release

This Extraordinary Release went live with effect from 05:00 today and incorporated changes to implement the following Modifications:

• IGT182 – Alignment of the IGT UNC with the UNC definition of the Data Permissions Matrix 
• IGT181 – Revision of Virtual Last Resort User and Contingent Procurement of Supplier Demand Event Triggers
• • Please note that this Modification has a Phased Implementation approach. Phase 1 changes were implemented today as part of this Extraordinary Release. Phase 2 changes will be implemented on the same day as Modification IGT176 (currently expected in August 2026).

Changes included in this Release

This Release incorporated the Ofgem designated changes for the implementation of the prioritisation process as set out under Code Reform.
