Current Status: Joint IGT UNC/UNC Review Group Development
This Review will be developed alongside UNC0928R via a Joint Review Group.
Purpose of Review
The Uniform Network Code (UNC) Performance Assurance Committee (PAC) has agreed that further investigation should be undertaken to consider what the introduction of Qualification Requirements for new Shippers under both the Independent Gas Transporter Uniform Network Code (IGT UNC) and UNC might involve.
An equivalent UNC Review Group Request has been raised as 0938R – Introduction of Qualification Requirements for new Shippers’.
This request seeks to explore the elements that could potentially form part of any future market entry requirements within the IGT UNC and UNC.
Joint Review Group Meetings
All meetings for RG009 and UNC0938R will be facilitated by the Joint Office. The first meeting is currently scheduled for 14th July 2026. Links to meetings, papers and agendas can be found on the Joint Office website.
Any IGT UNC Parties wishing to attend the Joint Review Group meetings can provide the name and email address for attendees to the IGT UNC Code Administrator (IGTUNC@talan.com), who will pass the details onto the Joint Office. Alternatively, parties can contact the Joint Office directly (enquiries@gasgovernance.co.uk) to provide this information.
